I was boiling with rage,
My veins about to explode,
Cursing in mind the person behind it,
Mentally picturing the fierce argument.
He walks in cool-headed,
With a ready-made joke of his,
And the next thing I know,
Is the tears pouring out,
Not due to anger, but laughter.
I hate the stupidity over his head,
Only that I secretly love him!

The rattle of words in the vacillating heart,
Heavy puffs of breath like a red-eyed bull,
The trembling nerves stewing out anger,
Finally when the words came pouring out,
She regretted!

One day you are totally acquainted,
The other day you are a complete stranger.
One day you treasure me so much,
The other day you simply don’t care.
One day we talk for hours,
The other day I stay forgotten.
One day I swear to God that you are the one,
The other day I get mad at Cupid.
One day I get proud and boast about you,
The other day I curse you in the confines of my mind.
One day I wish to live,
The other day I simply want to end things.
Is this a sweet/sour gift of love?
I never know!

Twisted and turned by the churning water,
My body shrieked and screamed of agony.
Stabbed by a thousand knifes,
The splash of warm blood spread all around.
I stretched out my ailing hand,
Hoping for someone to save,
From this deep dark hole,
Of pain, hurt and grief.
Nay I had a clue that,
They were the ones who pushed,
I drown deep into the ocean,
With a heart burning of cheat.

People punch me now and then,
A few, very often,
With full vigor and spirit,
With a loud heard thud.
It hurts me,
But I am not allowed to feel.
It ruins me,
But I am not allowed to complain.
If I do, I am out of the game,
If I don’t I lose my life.
As my cry goes in vain,
I stand rock-still, like a fake-human!

A fraction of a second,
People often told me,
Took to turn one’s life around.
I was satirical,
Until the person was me,
Until it dawned on me.
A decision, right or wrong?
I never knew,
I never know.
But it was my decision, Mine!
Taken in a moment,
A fraction of a second.
I may cherish it a lifetime,
Or repent for an eternity,
That fraction of a second!

A single moment can shatter your happiness.
A single moment can make you roll with laughter.
A single moment can make you go red with rage.
A single moment takes to live or die.
Moments are deceptive,
As black as witch magic.
Never decide things in a single moment,
Be it with your tongue,
Or with your brain.
If it’s your moment, steal it,
Else, let somebody rob it.
Take more than a moment to decide your life,
For, your life is worth many cherish able moments!
